Our trainer Mr. Shivprasad Koirala completed almost 100 lectures of design pattern in SBS (http:\/\/stepbystepschools.net\/?page_id=319)<\/a> and big companies.<\/p>\n

Below are simple one liner revisions from his class.<\/p>\n

These are not GOF, EVANS, Grady definitions as i find them pretty complex. So its in my own words what i understood. Any rectifications let me know.<\/p>\n

DDD :-<\/b> Your code architecture should reflect the domain model.<\/p>\n

Ubiquitous Language :-<\/b> Developer and end users who will use the software should speak same language.<\/p>\n

Repository :-<\/b> Decouples Dal and Model.<\/p>\n

UOW :-<\/b> Implements transaction in Repositories.<\/p>\n

Aggregate root :-<\/b> All contained objects are controlled through a central object.<\/p>\n

Iterator :-<\/b> You want to browse Aggregate root contained objects and also respect integrity of Aggregate root.<\/p>\n

Context Boundary :-<\/b> A Customer object of validation is different from a DTO customer object.<\/p>\n

CQRS :-<\/b> Insert , update , delete objects are different from Search and query objects.<\/p>\n

Simple Factory :-<\/b> Decouples simple single object creation.<\/p>\n

Factory pattern :-<\/b> Complex permutation and combination object creation.<\/p>\n

Prototype :-<\/b> Create a clone copy of the current object.<\/p>\n

Mediator :-<\/b> Simplifies complex and chatty communication between objects.<\/p>\n

Facade :-<\/b> Simplified interface over lot of subsystems.<\/p>\n

Decorator :-<\/b> Add logics dynamically without touching the main logic. Good for maintenance scenarios.<\/p>\n

Template method :-<\/b> Fixed sequence but you want to override the individual steps of the sequence.<\/p>\n

Composite :-<\/b> Treat aggregate and composed objects in a uniform manner.<\/p>\n

Adapter :-<\/b> You have third party interfaces which you want to make it compatible with your project interfaces.<\/p>\n

NULL pattern :-<\/b> Object does nothing , its like by just bypassing \/ mocking.<\/p>\n

Proxy :-<\/b> Not used much , in .NET auto implemented mostly by WCF, WS.<\/p>\n

Flyweight :-<\/b> Reduce RAM stress by creating shared copy of same data.<\/p>\n

Singleton :-<\/b> A single instance which supports thread safety and lazy loading.<\/p>\n

Interpreter :-<\/b> For creating language elements like “Book ticket del-mum” and it should just work.<\/p>\n

Memento :-<\/b> Capture object state so that it can be reversed. Like Cancel and Reset functionality.<\/p>\n

DTO :-<\/b> Simple setters and getter for transferring data across layers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
